A gardener wanted to establish a color-filled garden, in this new-build home, to fulfill her gardening passion, and as a fun space in which to entertain friends, family and grand children. Curved rock walls, and stepping stone paths create height and shape interest throughout the garden. A detailed planting plan filled the garden with ornamental trees, seasonal shrubs and colorful perennials to make this space a delight to spend time in, for year round enjoyment.
Planting beds and paths help tame a meadow landscape
An open field with great views got even prettier with new planting beds and paths around the renovated house and deck, and along the edge of a new swimming pool. Billowing and soft plantings, with gravel paths lead you out to enjoy time at the pool with big views beyond the meadow.
Forgotten Side Yard
An unloved side yard gets the make over it has been waiting for! A simple design replaces old retaining wall block with natural stone and a gravel patio to create an attractive addition to match the rest of the property.
Creating a new home & garden
Soft plantings, a cedar pergola to disguise the neighbors' roof tops and fencing solutions for a dog run, helped a couple and their two dogs make their new garden into a space to call their own. Stepping stone paths and a custom gate invite you to explore, while a functional fence hides what you don't want to see! Entertain friends in the shade of the covered patio and enjoy the garden from all directions.

Contemporary courtyard
This contemporary courtyard packs a lot in, giving the owners space to entertain with friends around a fire pit, sit quietly together next to a custom water feature, or grill on the new deck. The design created an open flow from the front entry through to the back of the garden with wide, large slab paver paths, raised beds for easy plant maintenance, new patios and decking, and custom arbor and trellis for privacy and shade.

A brand new home with a blank slate provided the back drop for a plan that incorporates lush plantings in and around a flagstone patio. The result is a backyard sanctuary that the owner can kick back and relax in.
